Being incorporated as a Section 8 company See where we stand

AnandBodh Foundation

Transparency

Proof, not promises. Here is where AnandBodh Foundation stands today — including everything that is not yet done.

The public ledger

Every pledge and every delivery made through HeartsWill is sealed in a public ledger. Each entry carries the fingerprint of the one before, so no record can be quietly changed.

Board

Being constituted. Our Charter asks for three to seven directors, at least one-third of them independent and at least one a woman. We will name each director here once appointed.

Founders: Nikhil Sharma and Neha Sharma

A Happiness Council of volunteers, partners and community members will advise the board twice a year.

Policies

These are the commitments in our Charter. The board will adopt the full policy documents.

Dignity and consent

Without informed consent no photograph, video, name or story of a recipient is published. Children are never shown identifiably without a guardian’s written consent, and never in a way that shames. Where possible recipients choose what they receive.

Safeguarding

Every handover has two witnesses, so no volunteer is ever alone with a child. Volunteers who work near children follow a safeguarding code. Children’s faces are blurred and places are shown by area only. Anyone can raise a concern through our contact page by choosing Grievance.

Privacy

We collect only what we need, with your consent, and we never sell it. This site has no ad trackers and sets no cookies.

Conflict of interest

No director is paid for being a director. Except at arm’s length and with the conflicted director recused, no transaction is made with a founder, director, relative or their business. Any such transaction is disclosed below.

Stewardship

At least 85% of each year’s income will go to our objects or be formally set aside for them. Overheads and programme spending will be published every year with audited accounts.

Accounts and reports

Audited accounts will appear here after our first financial year. The first annual AnandBodh Happiness Report will be published on 20 March 2028, and every 20 March after that.
