Preamble
We the founders of AnandBodh Foundation hold that Happiness is not a reward for the fortunate. It is the birthright of every human being. India’s Supreme Court has read the right to life in Article 21 as a right to live with dignity — with nutrition, clothing and shelter as its bare necessities. The United Nations marks 20 March as the International Day of Happiness. We exist to turn that recognition into daily practice — one Heart at a time.
Article 1
Name and nature
The organisation shall be called AnandBodh Foundation. It is a not-for-profit company. Its income and property shall be applied solely to its objects. No part of them shall be paid as dividend, profit or benefit to any member, director or related person.
Article 2
Vision
A Bharat in which every person — whatever their means — lives with dignity, health, calm, belonging and meaning.
Article 3
Mission
To carry Happiness to wherever it is missing: essentials to those in want, care to those in pain, calm to those in distress, company to those alone and purpose to all — funded by the giving of many hearts through HeartsWill.com.
Article 4
The Five Rights of Happiness
Right to Essentials — food, clothing, warmth, hygiene and support towards safe shelter.
Right to Health — a body cared for through medical relief, nutrition and yoga.
Right to Peace of Mind — access to calm, emotional support and qualified counselling.
Right to Belonging — no one left alone; companionship, community and inclusion.
Right to Meaning — learning, dignified livelihood and the chance to give back.
Article 5
Universality
Without regard to religion, caste, creed, gender, language, region, disability, wealth, education or social status, the Foundation shall serve every person in need. Beneficiaries shall be chosen on need alone. No benefit shall be reserved for any one religious community or caste.
